The Lowdown.

After co-hosting three sold out workshops in 2016 I've received continuous interest from photographers around the globe asking when and where another workshop would happen.  With that said, I'm super excited to announce that my latest workshop will be taking place in my hometown of London, Ontario, Canada!

  • Where: London, ON
  • Cost: $1,250
  • Capacity: 10 Students

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is geared towards students who want to expand on a foundation in Real Estate Photography.  The goal is to enhance your current workflow to include best practices for both shooting and post production.  Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced shooter, you’ll learn a myriad of techniques to help you create clean, crisp, beautiful images with repeatable results!  This new set of tools will leave you better equipped to elevate your current Real Estate Photography game or transition towards Interior Design and other Commercial type work.

What kind of stuff will you be covering?

  • Gear talk (Lenses, Lights, Modifiers, Camera Support, Tethering, etc)
  • Using off camera flash (both speed lights and higher powered monolights)
  • Finding amazing compositions (avoiding tangents and overlaps, best focal length and camera height, etc)
  • Advanced retouching to give your images accurate white balance, color and snap!
  • Estimating and pricing (including cost sharing and licensing)
  • Dealing with curve balls (reflections, color contamination, rogue cats, etc)
  • My quick and dirty approach to high volume Real Estate Photography
  • Working with commercial clients (Interior Designers, Builders, Contractors, etc)
  • A bunch of other cool shit

Why London?

With an area population of 500,000 London is conveniently located 120 miles (200 km) from both the Toronto Pearson International Airport and the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.  It's also serviced by the London International Airport so there's numerous options for travelers!

I've secured two homes at the exclusive Millstone Homes Alcove Development that are "world-class" in every sense of the word!  Over the years I've had the good fortune to shoot a bunch of amazing real estate and interiors throughout Canada and the USA and I can say with confidence that these homes are the best of the best!  They both offer a wide variety teaching points and students will have the opportunity to capture some kick ass images for their portfolio!
